Release history

Newest versions first.

Current release Ver1.29
  • Fix RY Skimmer startup failure caused by missing SciPy modules. Bundle the related NumPy compatibility modules.
  • Test synthetic IQ decoding in the built Windows executable before creating the release ZIP.
Ver1.28
  • Keep 3 log ZIP snapshots and 3 pre-edit backups per monthly ADIF, including existing copies. Live QSO logs and transcripts remain.
  • Revised RY Skimmer startup: close saved input settings and bring the skimmer forward. Distinguish startup failure from waiting for IQ; show errors in red.
  • Added diagnostics across features: 500 kB per file, up to 3 generations, about 12 MB overall. Retain the last file of each category.
  • Added shared double-click mode linkage to RY Skimmer / RY Radar, ON by default, following the active Profile.
  • Moved club data into config, preserving existing edits. Distribution root contains only the EXE and folders.
  • Excluded unused Qt modules and other unnecessary build components.
  • Keep one update generation and two pre-update backups as ZIP files. After successful startup, clean older stored generations and avoid nesting earlier backups.
Ver1.27
  • Added RY Skimmer. Decode multiple RTTY signals simultaneously from IC-7610/IC-7760 or RTL-SDR IQ input and show callsigns and countries on a vertical scope. Added connection and DLL search guidance.
  • Added RY Radar. Poll RBN and other sources for RTTY spots, display them by band and retain them for up to 30 minutes. Added age-based colors, connection status and error messages.
  • RY Skimmer and RY Radar use independent windows. Open them below Subdecode in the View menu. Double-click a displayed station to tune to its frequency.
  • Added JA-BAND ONLY to both windows. Limit the display to normal Japanese terrestrial RTTY segments; overseas stations within those frequency segments are also shown. The setting is saved.
  • Improved independent RIT operation and state synchronization, reducing display flicker. Added −/+ buttons beside the slider and a STEP setting.
  • Improved CALL extraction from receive cards containing a single or repeated callsign. Cards with an identified callsign show its DXCC country/entity name.
  • Prefer 599 when it is among received RST candidates, reducing incorrect selection from sequences such as 299 599, 399 599 and 599 299.
  • Subdecode now hides received text of two characters or fewer. Added a hint that double-clicking a Latest QSO entry opens its details.
  • Truncate HAMLOG transfer frequencies to three decimal places in MHz and fixed a verification issue that stopped transfer. Removed standalone CALL search and added a 599-format settings image and guidance on checking the RTTY RST format.
Ver1.26
  • Re-send FIGS before digits or symbols after a space.
  • Fixed contest numbers being decoded as letters by receivers with USOS (Unshift On Space) enabled.
  • Applied to AFSK, FSK keying and direct TX, preserving compatibility with receivers without USOS.
  • Changed repeated numbers in the standard JARL WW RTTY and CQ WW RTTY macros to 001-001.
  • Extract a single exchange from identical numbers repeated with a hyphen.
Ver1.25
  • Buffered reception now groups text by continuity of decoded frames.
  • Rejected frames or short gaps split runs early; the character limit applies to each run, reducing the joining of isolated short bursts.
  • Live display remains separate. Updated guides in all eight languages.
Ver1.24
  • When a QSO has no frequency, show the other station callsign and a frequency input before logging.
  • Apply the entered MHz value to this QSO and derive its supported band. Use the same value for ADIF, HAMLOG, UDP and other links.
  • Cancel leaves the log, external transfers and serial number unchanged. This also applies to TU73 automatic logging.
  • Added the frequency dialog, guide and history in all eight languages.
Ver1.23
  • Prepare the FSK COM port at connection and keep it open between transmissions and resends.
  • Check RTTY mode before preparing the FSK port. Confirm RX after initialization before starting PTT.
  • Release the FSK port on disconnect or Profile change. Show the failed startup stage.
  • HAMLOG transfer now follows CALL → Enter → QSO data → verification → Save.
  • HAMLOG mismatch errors show the field, sent value and read-back value. Added guidance for three-digit RST 599 in RTTY.
  • Suppress Hamlib debug output. Updated guides, errors and history in all eight languages.
Ver1.21
  • Added waits and read retries to Hamlib FSK mode checks to handle temporary read errors and mode-change delays.
  • Keeps the filter when already in the requested mode, sends at most one mode-change command, and starts TX only after verification. STOP also cancels verification waits.
  • Added stage-specific FSK errors with received mode, attempt count and Hamlib error codes in all eight languages.
Ver1.20
  • Fixed SWR/PWR readings during FSK transmission on supported radios. Display switches and the 2-second hold after TX remain available.
  • In FSK configuration, a verified RTTY/RTTY-R mode is shown as green “FSK” instead of an ALC gauge.
  • Audio-level ALC polling and the audio-settings warning are omitted in FSK mode.
Ver1.19
  • FSK transmission now keeps the selected filter by leaving an already selected RTTY/RTTY-R mode unchanged on ICOM, Yaesu and Kenwood radios.
  • Removed forced FIL1 selection on ICOM. When a mode change is needed, transmission starts only after the new mode is verified.
Ver1.18
  • Added per-Profile FSK keying transmission. AFSK remains the default and existing AFSK settings are preserved.
  • Configure the FSK COM port, DTR/RTS, polarity and RTTY mode. Connection and transmission tests are available; reception continues through Audio IN.
  • FSK supports 32 ICOM entries, three Kenwood models and 10 Yaesu entries, with model-specific connections, radio settings and manufacturer references.
  • Connection guidance is black for a USB cable connection, blue when external equipment is required and red for radios without native FSK. USB cable wording distinguishes it from SSB USB mode.
  • Added an FSK tab to the initial setup guide. Connection/test controls appear above the instructions. The audio notice appears when two or more Profiles use AFSK.
  • Added MACRO button colors under View. Choose the standard colors or three named presets for F1–F9 text and backgrounds.
  • Colors support RGB entry and a color picker. Saved settings persist after restart; discarding unsaved changes requires confirmation.
  • Updated settings, confirmation dialogs, setup guides and history in eight languages.
Ver1.17
  • Added display and adjustment of Windows per-app volume and mute to Audio OUT.
  • Added display and adjustment of Windows input-device volume and mute to Audio IN.
  • Volume can be checked without transmitting. When unavailable, the reason is displayed, distinguishing it from an actual volume of zero.
  • External PTT can now be selected for all models. Added a test that operates only while the button is held.
  • Added “Manual via external connection” to the radio selection.
  • Added deletion of all QSO logs, protected by step-by-step confirmations and a backup before deletion.
  • Added FT-950/FT-450 to the Hamlib-supported models.
Ver1.16
  • Changed frequency polling only to a 0.5-second interval. Meter polling intervals remain unchanged, and pending requests are not duplicated.
  • Added LSB/USB to the connection-mode choices alongside LSB-D/USB-D. Automatic switching follows the selected mode. Updated the explanations in all 8 languages.
  • Added ADIF UDP transmission after saving a QSO. The integration menu provides ON/OFF, destination IP and port settings for ADIF receivers such as Log4OM2.
  • Received text can now be displayed progressively or in batches. The default is batch display, and the selection is saved. Character-count filtering of short text is applied when the text is finalized.
  • Added FT-891 to the Hamlib-supported models and added audio-connection guidance.
  • Added an option to switch to USB audio input on connection for supported ICOM models. The input source is read back for verification, and existing Profile settings are retained.

  • Added audio-selection guidance for multiple Profiles, a connection button in Audio OUT, and an option to reapply the input.
  • Changed the transmit-level scale to 0–100, allowing finer adjustment in the low range.
  • Added compact ALC and SWR/PWR displays and display settings. Moved the C tuning indicator and removed its border and bold styling.
  • Moved the checkbox for transmission while disconnected above Auto CQ and applied it to Auto CQ as well.
  • Updated the layout for narrow screens and the explanations in all 8 languages.
  • Moved Profile to the far right and right-aligned the RX gauge and display sensitivity. Enlarged the settings window.
  • Made the multiple-Profile guidance silent, clarified that it is not an error, and added a USB audio-input illustration.
  • ALC remains displayed when readings are supported. Before readings begin during TX, the gauge shows 85% in light blue; the last SWR/PWR readings are held for about 2 seconds.
  • SWR turns orange at 1.8 or higher, vermilion at 2.2 or higher, and red at 2.8 or higher. If PWR read during TX is 0, a red message asks you to check the Audio settings.
  • Added a USB-input illustration to the initial setup guide.
Ver1.14
  • Changed the direct-transmission idle signal to repeated LTRS. FIGS switching is retained when numeric transmission resumes.
  • Automatic STOP can now be set to 1–9 seconds. The default is 2 seconds, and the selection is saved.
  • Changed zLog integration to real-time QSO registration through Z-Server. Added connection settings, status and an unconfirmed QSO count, with saving on disconnection and reconciliation on reconnection.
  • Updated the related screens, guides and descriptions in all 8 languages. Existing ADIF export remains available.
Ver1.13
  • Sent characters in direct transmission are now bold black and remain visible after STOP or reopening the window. Continuing sends only newly entered text; “Resend” sends the full text.
  • After all unsent characters have been transmitted, 2 seconds without additional input triggers automatic STOP and releases PTT. Additional input resets the timer; transmission does not stop during the 0.5-second correction period or while sending.
  • Increased the direct-input font size by 1 point and updated the guidance in all 8 languages.
  • Added a separator above “Version upgrade” in Help and an official website button beside Thanks in “About this software”.
