Connection
Connect rear REMOTE (CI-V) to the PC using a compatible CI-V interface. Connect external sound hardware/radio interface to ACC(1) (8-pin). A USB CI-V cable alone carries no audio. TX: PC output → MOD; RX: AF → PC input.
Radio settings · AFSK
This guide uses 8-pin ACC(1) audio. Select plain LSB on the radio and disconnect the microphone. No LSB-D/USB input switching. Check ACC P5.6 = nor for MAIN RX, ACC.t-AF input sensitivity and 9600 = OFF.

FSK keying transmission · Ver1.18
Example: DTR for FSK and CI-V/CAT for PTT. Adjust settings to your wiring and selected signals.
The manufacturer manual specifies AFSK operation for this model. Native direct FSK keying is not supported; use normal AFSK mode.

If FT8 already works
If FT8 works in plain USB through the same external audio, keep wiring/gain and switch the radio to LSB. Check its PTT method and MAIN/SUB audio selection too.
PSRTTY settings · AFSK
Select IC-910 / IC-910H, CI-V COM and external Audio IN/OUT. Automatic mode switching OFF; choose LSB on the radio. Select external PTT and configure the compatible interface’s COM, RTS/DTR and polarity. CI-V frequency control and PTT are separate.
No modulation
If no TX, check external PTT settings/SEND wiring first. No modulation: Audio OUT→MOD. No RX: AF→Audio IN and ACC P5.6 = nor. For incorrect audio level check ACC.t-AF HI/Lo against interface output.
