FT8 JTDX for FT-817

FT-817でSCU-17を使いJTDXを動かすためのメモ。

This memo for running JTDX with FT-817 and SCU-17.

SCU-17のドライバはYaesuから提供されてますが、Windowsのみです。よって、Windowsで設定します。

The SCU-17 driver is provided by Yaesu, but only for Windows. So, set it up in Windows.

あるVersion以降、FT-817にもかかわらずFT-817の設定で上手く動作しなくなり、FT-857の設定で動作します。

After a certain Version, it does not work JTDX well with the FT-817 setting despite the FT-817 and works with the FT-857 setting.

FT-817の方で、Portの速度を「9600dps」にする必要があります。理由は分かりませんが、高くても低くても不安定です。
また、データビットは「８」、ストップビットは「１」または「２」にします。
ハンドシェークは「なし」です。
PTTは「CAT」になり、モードは「指定せず」で問題ありませんが、FT-817の方で「DIGモード」「USER-U」を選びます。
スプリット操作は「Fake it」です。

The FT-817 person needs to set the Port speed to “9600 dps”. I don't know why, but it is unstable both high or low.
Also, the Data-bit should be “8” and the Stop-bit should be “1” or “2”.
Handshake is “none”.
PTT is set to “CAT”, and the mode is “not specified”, which is fine, but the FT-817 will select “DIG mode” or “USER-U”.
Split operation is “Fake it”.
